Description

  • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal/external advisor on wastewater treatment technical matters.
  • Provide firmwide direction and internal consultation for specialized wastewater services.
  • Ensure processes and systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and review compliance documentation and reports.
  • Represent the firm through technical papers, presentations, and participation in professional societies.
  • Promote quality control standards and improve efficiency in producing high-quality work.
  • Research and analyze wastewater-related data, trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners.
  • Represent the firm on governing bodies of professional organizations, when needed.
  • Lead and manage water and wastewater treatment projects from conceptual design through implementation, including project plans, budgets, and schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required; a master’s degree in Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering is preferred.
  • Must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • 12+ years of experience in water/wastewater process engineering.
  • Strong technical background in wastewater treatment, wastewater modeling, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience leading and mentoring others.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively on a team.
  • Innovative and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development, including participation in professional organizations.
  • Ability to work from any office location or remotely.
