Description

  • Lead end-to-end strategy development for new growth opportunities, from opportunity identification through business case development and execution planning.
  • Evaluate emerging markets, geographies, and customer segments to determine where Oura should invest and how to win.
  • Drive international growth strategy by building market entry plans, channel strategies, and localized go-to-market approaches with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop investment theses and business cases that inform leadership’s major resource allocation decisions.
  • Serve as a strategic thought partner to C-suite leaders by framing key questions, structuring analyses, and driving decisions.
  • Create high-quality strategic materials for board meetings, investor conversations, and executive offsites.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment on Oura’s highest-priority strategic initiatives by clarifying ownership and resolving misalignment.
  • Partner with department leadership on annual and quarterly planning to ensure priorities are reflected in resource allocation and investment decisions.
  • Shape analytical frameworks and planning infrastructure to support enterprise-level prioritization and trade-off decisions.
  • Drive adoption of AI-powered workflows across the strategy and operations function to improve planning, modeling, and strategic insight delivery.

Requirements

  • 10–12+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or growth-stage operating roles.
  • MBB consulting experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record leading growth strategies such as market entry, geographic expansion, partnerships, or new business model development.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a strategic agenda end-to-end, from framing the question through mobilizing cross-functional teams to deliver outcomes.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to build conviction from data.
  • Executive presence and the ability to drive alignment with C-suite leaders without positional authority.
  • Fluency with the latest AI tools and experience using them to transform team workflows.
  • Experience in health technology, digital health, consumer hardware, or membership businesses is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely in the U.S., with a strong preference for candidates based in San Francisco or the Bay Area.
  • Ability to work in PST or MST time zones.
  • Candidates must not reside in Alaska, Delaware, Iowa, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, or Wisconsin.
