Description

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple telecommunications projects.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets with stakeholders and senior management.
  • Manage project resources and coordinate engineering, operations, sales, customer service, vendors, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues and develop contingency plans.
  • Track project progress and key performance indicators and provide updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive improvements to project management processes and methodologies.
  • Foster collaboration, communication, knowledge sharing, and professional development within project teams.
  • Provide telecom industry guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of project management experience focused on telecommunications or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, construction planning, or a related technical field preferred; an associate degree with equivalent experience may substitute.
  • Proven experience managing complex telecom projects from initiation through completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of telecommunications technologies, including FTTx, long-haul, B2B, wireless communications, data services, network infrastructure, and fiber mapping.
  • Strong leadership, team management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or similar project management tools.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management credential preferred.
