Description

  • Lead large, complex infrastructure projects from research and planning through testing and delivery.
  • Own the EKS and EC2 lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, add-ons, autoscaling, reliability, and cost controls.
  • Define and maintain CI/CD and GitOps standards across the platform.
  • Design and support .NET container pipelines for application delivery.
  • Standardize infrastructure as code using Terraform and Crossplane where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain platform tooling, environments, scripts, and self-service capabilities for product teams.
  • Partner with Platform Engineering, Security, and ENG teams on incident response, runbooks, and operational practices.
  • Automate security and compliance workflows, including patching, evidence capture, and remediation.
  • Mentor engineers and document platform standards to drive adoption across teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Deep AWS experience and strong Kubernetes/EKS operations experience.
  • Terraform-first infrastructure-as-code experience.
  • Experience with CI/CD and GitOps patterns.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Linux proficiency and solid Bash/Python scripting skills.
  • Familiarity with Windows/PowerShell and .NET build and deployment nuances for legacy workloads.
  • Experience with Argo CD or Flux and GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with TeamCity and Octopus is a plus.
  • Experience with Prometheus; Datadog or SumoLogic experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Kafka/MSK, AWS SNS/SQS/Kinesis, and exposure to Postgres, MSSQL, or MySQL is helpful.
  • Security and compliance know-how, including SOC 2 and PCI, is required.
