Description

  • Help drive architectural vision and strategy for new enterprise functionality across login and self-service management experiences.
  • Design and deliver scalable features for B2B SaaS customers, including login flows and management capabilities.
  • Identify, implement, and lead technical improvements to the codebase and system architecture.
  • Orchestrate and lead major technical projects across teams when needed.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced engineers on engineering practices and technical leadership.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on building scalable, reliable, and maintainable distributed systems.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to define feature look, feel, and functionality.
  • Review customer feedback and incorporate it into product and technical decisions.
  • Work closely with external teams to deliver cross-functional projects successfully.

Requirements

  • Experience designing, implementing, and evolving complex distributed systems.
  • Solid architectural and security knowledge.
  • Experience collaborating closely with external teams on successful projects.
  • Strong mentoring and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly in person and in writing.
  • Solid experience with Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript for scalable backend services and public/internal APIs.
  • Experience building frontend and full-stack applications, including SPAs, with a good understanding of React and CSS.
  • Good understanding of SQL databases, including debugging and optimizing table and query structure for performance under load.
  • Experience with Docker and cloud environments; AWS and Azure are preferred.
  • Proven experience operating services at scale with observability tools and mechanisms.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of authentication protocols such as OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML.
  • Nice to have: understanding of event-driven architectures, especially Apache Kafka.
  • Nice to have: DevOps culture experience and willingness to work with Terraform when needed.
  • Nice to have: knowledge of security engineering and application security.
  • Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes.

  • Annual base salary range of €74,000 to €102,000 for candidates located in Spain.
