Description

  • Prepare, review, and maintain licensing documents, programs, and supporting products for Oklo's fuel fabrication and recycling technologies.
  • Plan, organize, and execute complex assignments in a team environment.
  • Support project management of licensing activities and deliverables, including document submittals, schedules, and milestones.
  • Develop engineering and licensing requirements and documentation for nuclear systems and components in collaboration with other engineering functions.
  • Coordinate with design engineers to review technical materials and ensure new designs and design changes meet regulatory requirements.
  • Interface with the nuclear regulator from both regulatory and planning perspectives.
  • Prepare and defend Oklo's licensing positions for areas where existing regulations do not apply or where new or revised requirements or guidance are needed.
  • Prepare and deliver licensing presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Lead resolution of key strategic licensing issues.

Requirements

  • BS in engineering from an accredited college or university, or related experience.
  • Knowledge of 10 CFR 70, NRC Regulatory Guides, and other regulatory guidance.
  • Demonstrated coordination skills and the ability to earn the trust of team members and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate highly technical content verbally.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment.
  • Ability to translate strategic regulatory decisions into licensing deliverables.
  • U.S. person status may be required due to export control laws.
