Description

  • Refine and implement the QA strategy for the Platform Engineering team.
  • Build and maintain sophisticated test automation frameworks that validate security, performance, and correctness across the entire stack.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines so every protocol update and software release is battle-tested.
  • Implement fuzzing and property-based testing to detect edge cases in smart contract interactions.
  • Own load and stress testing to ensure the Arbitrum stack performs under transaction spikes.
  • Turn manual processes into automated, reproducible workflows by partnering with Software Engineers, Smart Contract developers, and DevOps.
  • Collaborate with researchers and external auditors to automate vulnerability detection and regression testing.
  • Work closely with DevRel to ensure SDKs, APIs, and documentation are well-tested and reliable for the Arbitrum developer ecosystem.

Requirements

  • Strong programming language skills in at least one of Go or Rust.
  • Proficiency with test automation frameworks (examples: Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, Jest, Mocha, Selenium, etc.).
  • Experience managing cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and a DevOps mindset for CI/CD integration.
  • Proven ability to build QA processes from the ground up in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Experience with fuzzing and property-based testing methodologies.
  • Experience designing and running load and stress tests for high-throughput systems.
  • Familiarity with smart contracts, blockchain protocol correctness, and testing of decentralized systems.
  • Self-starter who can drive process change and influence engineering teams to adopt best practices.
  • Passion for open-source, decentralization, and blockchain technology.
  • This role cannot be performed in California or Colorado (remote-first role otherwise).
