Description

  • Facilitate learning activities that engage and retain students.
  • Mark assessments and provide constructive, meaningful feedback.
  • Support student communication via discussion boards, email, and live sessions within 24-48 hours.
  • Collaborate with academic teams to maintain unit quality.
  • Help foster a positive team culture and student experience in line with OES values.
  • Monitor student engagement and contribute to strong learning outcomes.
  • Support students throughout the teaching period as an online subject matter expert.

Requirements

  • Minimum postgraduate degree in Business or Project Management.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Located in Australia.
  • Ability to work sessional part-time, approximately 8 hours per week, with potential for increased hours based on assessment and marking needs.
  • Comfortable navigating online learning platforms and technology.
  • Empathetic understanding of the challenges faced by online learners.
  • Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage time and responsibilities independently.
  • Clear communication and responsiveness, including regular visibility to students every 24-48 hours.
  • Desirable: experience teaching or studying in an online environment.
  • Desirable: previous teaching or mentoring experience.
