Description

  • Explore how world models can be used to understand, simulate, and generate sports and eSports matches such as soccer and DOTA.
  • Design, develop, and optimize AI video generation models with a focus on world models and autoregressive architectures.
  • Develop and implement algorithms for synthesizing sports matches.
  • Work with large-scale video-action datasets and build data-cleaning and data-preprocessing pipelines.
  • Define validation strategies and create custom evaluation metrics to compare synthetic and real gameplay.
  • Stay current with relevant research from venues such as CVPR, NeurIPS, ICML, and ICCV, and align findings with the company roadmap.
  • Collaborate with other teams to support model development and data workflows.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a PhD, preferably in the San Francisco area.
  • Published work at top computer vision, AI, or graphics venues such as CVPR, ICML, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, or NeurIPS.
  • Hands-on experience building and running generative computer vision models such as GANs, DiT, or VAEs.
  • Strong understanding of neural architectures and paradigms including Transformers, denoising diffusion models, RNNs, sequence models, and CNNs.
  • Solid understanding of VAEs, including ELBO.
  • Basic understanding of reinforcement learning.
  • Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.
