Description

Design, implement, and maintain microservices using Go, Python, and/or Java.
Design and develop cloud-based software products aligned with industry best practices.
Build systems, services, and tools to support new products and business requirements at scale.
Develop and scale online services and data pipelines that handle millions of transactions securely.
Collaborate with other teams on security, reliability, and automation initiatives.
Support testing, troubleshoot issues, and resolve production or development problems.
Contribute architectural leadership for backend applications, including framework and tooling decisions.
Lead projects end to end and take ownership of engineering deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of engineering experience.
Expertise in Go, Python, and/or Java with experience building complex systems and applications.
Solid database skills with Postgres, MySQL, or similar databases, plus data modeling experience.
Experience with web frameworks such as Spring or Flask and related ecosystems.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience leading and owning projects from beginning to end.
Experience with agile methodologies and automated testing.
Familiarity with containerization, microservices architecture, continuous integration, and deployment.
Must be located in CST or EST for remote work.
Preferred: ability to contribute best practices and architectural leadership for backend platforms.
