Description

  • Create acceptance scenarios and automated tests for new features.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify defects, edge cases, and usability issues.
  • Develop automated coverage for functional, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Apply maintainable and scalable test automation design patterns.
  • Guide teams on TDD, CI/CD integration, shift-left testing, and quality practices.
  • Monitor quality and performance metrics to identify trends and risks.
  • Support PCI and WCAG compliance efforts.
  • Investigate software issues with customer support and product teams, including root-cause analysis.
  • Mentor junior QA team members and share testing knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience leading test automation strategy.
  • 8+ years of experience building and using test frameworks for API and web UI testing.
  • 4+ years of experience with Playwright, Cypress, and/or WebdriverIO.
  • Experience integrating test automation with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to review, validate, and maintain AI-generated test cases.
  • Knowledge of application software design patterns and emerging technologies.
  • Degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Collaborative attitude and strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud services (preferred).
  • Familiarity with GitLab, Atlassian Suite, Split.io, BrowserStack, Mailtrap, Postman, Datadog, Google Analytics, Postgres, or MySQL; agile practices; B2C products; or a master’s degree (preferred).
