Description

  • Own Nium’s product strategy and execution across LATAM, with Brazil as the immediate priority.
  • Lead Brazil market activation by driving the roadmap toward direct PIX integration and defining technical, regulatory, and partnership milestones.
  • Drive the product workstream for Nium’s Corretora licence application and translate compliance needs into delivery plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local infrastructure providers and help evaluate partner tradeoffs.
  • Translate changing Brazilian regulatory requirements into actionable product decisions.
  • Represent Nium’s product interests with local regulators, banking partners, and enterprise clients.
  • Oversee product rollouts and localisation across Mexico, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina.
  • Establish a LATAM product operating model for discovery, prioritisation, and delivery.
  • Identify and prioritise high-value product opportunities across the region in partnership with commercial teams.
  • Monitor competitor activity across LATAM and help keep Nium’s product positioning competitive.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience in fintech, with meaningful experience in payments infrastructure, cross-border payments, or financial services in Brazil and/or LATAM.
  • Deep knowledge of the Brazilian payments ecosystem, including PIX, FX services, and the evolving regulatory environment.
  • Hands-on experience building or launching PIX-integrated products.
  • Proven experience navigating licensing and regulatory processes in LATAM.
  • Ability to convert complex compliance requirements into executable product delivery plans.
  • Experience working with or evaluating local financial infrastructure providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with significant autonomy in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is required; Spanish is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with payments, wallets, or stablecoins in Brazil and/or across the region is strongly preferred.
  • Background in a high-growth fintech or payments company that has scaled operations in LATAM is preferred.
  • Exposure to B2B or enterprise payments, particularly cross-border use cases, is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the competitive dynamics of the Brazilian and broader LATAM payments market is preferred.
