Description

  • Contribute to long-term DevOps programs and core technologies such as secrets management, Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, and related services.
  • Design, build, and maintain tools and utilities that integrate with CI/CD pipelines, including telemetry and monitoring.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure issues in production environments.
  • Build, shape, and promote infrastructure architecture patterns, standards, and best practices.
  • Advocate for a strong DevOps culture across Nintex projects.
  • Deploy medium to large infrastructure components to production using automation and in line with company deployment guidelines.
  • Write post-mortems for infrastructure, pipeline, and automation incidents, including root cause analysis and preventative actions.
  • Develop code and scripts with quality, maintainability, and reliability in mind.
  • Explain DevOps concepts, patterns, and practices to other engineers to help them work independently.
  • Contribute to improvements in continuous integration, new infrastructure platforms, and automated incident mitigation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering role supporting complex, production-grade systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably Azure, including Cosmos DB, Azure Key Vault, networking, monitoring, and identity.
  • Solid experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines, including integration, automation, and observability.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as code and automation tools, plus scripting or programming skills for operational tooling.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure and pipeline issues in live production environments.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, including secrets management, least-privilege access, and secure system design.
  • Experience designing systems with scalability, availability, disaster recovery, reliability, and durability in mind.
  • Ability to write clear documentation, post-mortems, and root cause analyses that drive improvements.
  • Strong communication skills to explain DevOps concepts clearly to engineers with varying experience levels.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and incident management.
  • Comfort working independently on complex problems and making sound technical decisions.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to create prototypes and proof-of-concepts.
