Description

  • Lead the end-to-end design process from concept to developer-ready handoff for client projects and the NineTwoThree brand.
  • Design within the existing Chakra UI component system and Figma UI kit, extending it with minimal divergence and rework.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI in Figma to communicate solutions and validate ideas.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and usability testing to support design decisions.
  • Design information architecture and layouts that prioritize clarity, speed, and efficient use of screen space.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into usable designs.
  • Defend design decisions using user needs and business goals.
  • Use AI tools to speed up the design process and help improve the team’s craft and design culture.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer.
  • Strong portfolio showing UX principles, user flows, and data-dense internal tools, admin panels, dashboards, or B2B/enterprise applications.
  • Experience in structured, fast-paced environments with clear processes, tight deadlines, and asynchronous collaboration.
  • Experience working on a multi-designer team and contributing to shared systems and design feedback.
  • Proven ability to design within an established component library such as Chakra UI, MUI, or Ant Design.
  • Working understanding of how design choices translate into front-end implementation effort, especially with React/Chakra.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including team libraries, auto layout, component properties, and prototyping.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
  • Knowledge of Google Material and Apple Design Guidelines.
  • Strong fundamentals in layout, grids, information hierarchy, and responsive/interactive design.
  • Excellent written and spoken English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
  • Experience designing for AI-driven web and mobile applications.
  • Attention to detail and a strong sense of usability and information hierarchy.
  • Preferred: experience designing complex, data-intensive platforms and interfaces.
  • Preferred: familiarity with React or front-end fundamentals.
  • Preferred: experience shipping internal tools or enterprise software.
