Description

  • Revise and redevelop nursing course content, learning activities, and assessments.
  • Provide clinical expertise and real-world context across nursing specialty areas.
  • Review assessments such as NGN-style items, case studies, and performance-based tasks for accuracy and realism.
  • Validate content for clinical accuracy, relevance, learner appropriateness, and evidence-based practice.
  • Identify outdated content, gaps, and inconsistencies and recommend updates.
  • Collaborate with instructional design, assessment, learning experience design, VR, and other internal teams.
  • Use learner performance trends and practice-readiness gaps to inform content improvements.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, working sessions, content reviews, and validation activities.
  • Meet deadlines and provide clear, timely, constructive feedback throughout the development process.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in nursing required; doctoral preparation preferred.
  • Active, unencumbered RN license required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more nursing specialties, such as pharmacology, medical-surgical, public health, pediatrics, geriatrics, or maternal health.
  • Recent or current clinical experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience teaching in a nursing program or contributing to curriculum or course development.
  • Familiarity with AACN Essentials (2021) and NCLEX/NGN expectations.
  • Experience reviewing or developing assessments preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in structured, deadline-driven environments and remain open to iteration.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to clinical accuracy and evidence-based practice.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen required.
