Description

  • Lead the overall technical architecture and design for Siebel CRM initiatives, including integrations, extensions, and performance optimization.
  • Design and implement Siebel configurations, including business objects, business components, applets, views, workflows, runtime events, and Business Services.
  • Develop and maintain Siebel Open UI customizations using JavaScript, CSS, and external framework integrations where appropriate.
  • Own end-to-end solution design for integrations with external systems such as web services, middleware, downstream ERP/HCM systems, and data warehouses.
  • Review and guide technical designs produced by other team members and enforce best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues across the Siebel application, integration, and database layers.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and functional leads to translate requirements into technical solutions and realistic estimates.
  • Support release planning, impact analysis, and code migration across environments.
  • Mentor junior Siebel developers and serve as the primary technical point of contact for Siebel-related questions.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Siebel CRM as a developer and/or technical lead.
  • Strong expertise with Siebel Tools and configuration, including Business Objects, Business Components, Links, Applets, and Views.
  • Experience with Workflows, Runtime Events, Business Services, and EIM/EAI.
  • Solid experience with Siebel Open UI (PM/PR), JavaScript, and web technologies including HTML and CSS.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex integrations using REST/SOAP web services, MQ/middleware, and file-based interfaces.
  • Strong understanding of Siebel data model and performance tuning concepts, including indexes, queries, and SQL analysis.
  • Experience working in multi-environment setups with formal change management and release processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical options and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience modernizing Siebel front-ends or integrating with cloud platforms is preferred.
  • Background in Oracle technologies and related enterprise applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion, or Oracle Cloud products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices, source control such as Git, and automated deployment processes is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a consulting or multi-client environment is preferred.
