Description

  • Gather ITOM requirements from end users, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Lead, coach, and mentor software engineers, including managing peer reviews and providing technical guidance.
  • Design and implement ServiceNow customizations, applications, modules, workflows, and user interfaces.
  • Develop Flow Designer solutions, business rules, scripts, integrations, and related logic.
  • Configure REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external applications.
  • Define, implement, and validate service maps, impact assessment rules, and event management solutions.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments.
  • Troubleshoot and remediate production incidents within the assigned scope.
  • Coordinate with technical leads to maintain consistent shared patterns and approaches.
  • Maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience implementing, administering, configuring, or developing ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
  • Strong experience with ServiceNow ITOM processes and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using MID Servers and cloud-to-cloud connections.
  • Experience with SOAP, REST, bi-directional, and automated web service integrations.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC or ODBC, or ETL integrations.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
  • Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
  • Experience with strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordinating people and resources.
  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness to complete ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations; ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, and CAD are preferred.
