Description

  • Develop customer applications for work order management, scheduling, and dispatch.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key functionality within a custom ServiceNow instance.
  • Enhance ServiceNow event rules to ensure proper CMDB binding.
  • Work with technical SMEs to gather environment information for service map and event work.
  • Develop interfaces for different user audiences using custom application models or Service Portals.
  • Build integrated logic and functional components that connect ServiceNow internal services and APIs via REST.
  • Install, configure, and integrate ServiceNow software products with a focus on discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and multisource CMDB.
  • Prevent duplicate CIs by managing CI identifiers.
  • Extend Horizontal Discovery with custom infrastructure patterns and application patterns.
  • Configure, manage, and maintain MID servers and support service mapping activities.
  • Migrate service mapping patterns between environments and configure identification rules.
  • Support discovery of multi-tier services, including advanced pattern configuration for service mapping.

Requirements

  • Experience as a ServiceNow Lead Engineer in platform, custom apps, and integrations.
  • Ability to understand, communicate, and implement platform, custom apps, and integrations.
  • Experience developing interfaces for different user audiences in custom application models or Service Portals.
  • Experience building integrated logic and functional components using ServiceNow internal services and REST APIs.
  • Knowledge of enterprise service-oriented and distributed application architecture, including web services, data access and persistence, and client/server models.
  • Understanding of credential-less and credential-based discovery.
  • Experience with discovery, service mapping, certification management, Service Graph Connectors, and multisource CMDB.
  • Ability to prevent duplicate CIs using CI identifiers.
  • Experience extending Horizontal Discovery with custom infrastructure and application patterns.
  • Knowledge of how to configure, manage, and maintain MID servers.
  • Proficiency with the command line console for Service Mapping.
  • Ability to migrate patterns between environments for Service Mapping.
  • Proficiency in configuring identification rules for Service Mapping.
  • Ability to discover multi-tier services, including advanced pattern configuration for Service Mapping.
