Description

  • Develop deep expertise in New Relic products and services.
  • Partner with sales to qualify prospects and expansion opportunities from both technical and business perspectives.
  • Lead discovery workshops to uncover customer challenges and needs.
  • Create technical proofs through demonstrations, presentations, workshops, and business value materials.
  • Develop and present strategic points of view on standardizing on the New Relic platform.
  • Design and execute proof-of-concept and pilot engagements aligned to customer outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve critical business and technical issues from customers, partners, and colleagues.
  • Contribute directly to revenue goals for the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with account teams to address business and technical problems.
  • Share best practices and reusable assets with other Solutions Consultants.
  • Provide feedback to product management on enhancements that address customer needs.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and executives, and support marketing and customer reference activities.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of pre-sales experience and/or similar customer-facing technical experience is desirable.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability, including AWS, GCP, Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, AIOps, logging, data analytics, and visualization.
  • Experience with open source technologies such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenCensus, and ELK is desirable.
  • Development experience in one or more languages such as Java, .NET, Ruby, C/C++, Python, JavaScript, or React.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, networking, Infrastructure as Code, and serverless computing.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solid balance of sales, business, and technical skills.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers, especially in Digital Natives, ECommerce/Retail, Healthcare, Media and Entertainment, Telco, Financial Services, Gaming, or Hospitality and Travel.
  • Passion for technology, a desire to learn, and willingness to travel.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
