Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and the account team.
  • Identify optimization opportunities in customer operations using strategy and analytics.
  • Conduct business reviews to understand customer challenges and explain how New Relic can address them.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to inform sales tactics using customer behavior, market trends, and competitive insights.
  • Provide strategic consultancy on technical solutions and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer notes, wins, and losses in the CRM.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and training sessions for clients and internal teams.
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and technical developments.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a technical, account management, Sales Engineering, or DevOps Engineering role.
  • Experience in a consulting or agency environment is preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategy consultancy and analytics focused on business outcomes.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills for explaining complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in team management and mentorship.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • An analytical and process-oriented mindset.
  • A highly energetic, hands-on, can-do attitude.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a bonus.
  • Experience in systems administration with Windows and Linux is a bonus.
  • Experience with observability solutions and OpenTelemetry is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of iOS and Android end-user interfaces is a bonus.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure and monitoring solutions and technologies is a bonus.
  • Cloud platform knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP certification is preferred.
  • Knowledge of architectural design for AI, MCP Server, and LLM/SLM is a bonus.
