Description

  • Develop long-term alliance vision and goals and own the strategic partner plan for New Relic in Japan.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key executives and field leaders at alliance partners.
  • Propose and support Sell To, Sell With, and Sell Through programs aligned to partner business needs.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews and ongoing executive engagements with partners.
  • Measure partner performance against growth metrics and partnership outcomes.
  • Execute go-to-market activities such as field events, conferences, campaigns, and other pipeline-building programs.
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional teams including alliances, marketing, sales, pre-sales, success, services, support, product management, and education.
  • Support partner-related product, marketing, sales enablement, services, and support initiatives.
  • Drive lead generation, account mapping, and pipeline development through partner programs.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in software and IT business development, strategic alliances, or building partner ecosystems.
  • 5+ years of experience building ecosystems or strategic partnerships.
  • Experience with direct and indirect sales and go-to-market initiatives for SaaS platforms.
  • Understanding of cloud and SaaS partnering, including how it differs from hardware/software package distributor models.
  • Proven ability to proactively sell to alliance partners' go-to-market teams.
  • Track record of successful quota attainment in sales and alliances roles, including sell-through, sell-to, and sell-with metrics.
  • Experience working with partner executives to build strategic programs and lead quarterly business reviews.
  • Experience selling to IT services companies, especially MSP providers, is welcome.
  • Business-level English is required, and fluency in Japanese is required.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
