Description

  • Design, build, maintain, and scale backend services and their support tools.
  • Participate in architectural definition and technical decision-making for new platform capabilities.
  • Create automation and tooling to improve scalability and deployment efficiency.
  • Work directly with a multidisciplinary team to support customers and partners.
  • Research new tools and services to understand complex scenarios and propose new features.
  • Operate in an agile, DevOps-oriented environment, including shared ownership of software and on-call rotations.
  • Help build a control plane and related services for managing customer data pipelines at scale.
  • Contribute to instrumentation agents, data processing and management services, vulnerability management, and security testing capabilities.

Requirements

  • 9+ years of hands-on experience with distributed systems, concurrency, and production-scale systems.
  • Strong proficiency in GoLang; primary language required and non-negotiable.
  • Basic frontend experience with React.
  • Deep knowledge of at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven track record of delivering production code in an Agile environment.
  • Ability to design and implement distributed solutions for complex, real-world problems.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience in shared code ownership and team-based decision-making.
  • Experience mentoring engineers and helping upskill team members.
  • Experience with Terraform (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Temporal for workflow orchestration (preferred).
  • GitHub Admin experience, including managing orgs, teams, and access controls (preferred).
  • Experience building CLI tools in GoLang (preferred).
  • Knowledge of DSLs, build/test automation, CI/CD pipelines, or test frameworks (preferred).
  • Contributions to open source projects (preferred).
  • Experience with async programming concepts such as streams, event-driven architecture, and reactive flows (preferred).
