Description

  • Develop and maintain backend services using Go (Golang) in a modern product environment.
  • Build features from high-level product requirements in close collaboration with Product Managers and Designers.
  • Own the full development lifecycle, including coding, testing, pull requests, and production releases.
  • Write and maintain automated tests to support code quality and reliability.
  • Work within fast CI/CD pipelines where changes may reach production shortly after approval.
  • Collaborate with distributed engineering teams in a fully remote environment with strong autonomy and accountability.
  • Identify blockers early and proactively seek clarification or support when needed.
  • Contribute to technical discussions and help improve engineering practices and product quality.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude, Cursor, or similar to improve productivity and code quality.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Go (Golang), which is mandatory for external candidates.
  • Solid experience building backend systems and APIs in a production environment.
  • Experience working in product-focused engineering teams rather than strictly delivery or outsourcing environments.
  • Understanding of modern development practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based environments, preferably AWS.
  • Experience using AI development tools as part of the engineering workflow.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-autonomy environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Experience working in fast-moving product companies is a plus.
  • Background in strictly typed languages such as Java, .NET, or Kotlin is a plus.
  • Experience collaborating closely with product and design teams during feature discovery and implementation is a plus.
