Description

  • Design, write, and maintain performant, readable, and well-documented frontend and full-stack code using JavaScript/TypeScript and core backend languages.
  • Integrate generative AI and agentic coding tools into product workflows and real-time classroom experiences.
  • Write and maintain automated tests to validate correctness and support iterative delivery.
  • Deploy and operate large-scale web applications across CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure, owning features end-to-end from design through production.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and handle operational responsibilities for services you ship.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering to define and deliver fast, elegant, and responsive user experiences.
  • Improve accessibility, performance, and SEO for high-traffic web properties.
  • Work independently and as part of a fast-moving team, continuously learning and iterating to raise quality.

Requirements

  • Senior Software Engineer level (role title) with experience building production web products.
  • Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
  • Experience with a core object-oriented language such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Proficiency with AI-native and agentic coding tools (examples: Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Grok, Firecrawl, n8n, etc.) — noted as essential.
  • Familiarity with backend services and service-oriented architectures hosted in AWS (examples: RDS, Lambda, EC2).
  • Experience with deployment and CI/CD systems (examples: GitHub Actions, AWS CodeDeploy).
  • Familiarity with Linux operating system and command-line tools.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures, plus aptitude to learn new languages and technologies quickly.
  • Experience developing websites with thousands of daily visitors and experience improving SEO performance.
  • Fluent in English; Computer Science or related degree preferred.
  • Posted as Pune-based (location mentioned in description).
