Description

  • Build and maintain a strong press contact list and execute earned media outreach in U.S. and LATAM markets.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, articles, op-eds, and other media materials.
  • Pitch stories, respond to media inquiries, track coverage, and prepare monthly reporting tied to OKRs.
  • Build and maintain a crisis response playbook, draft holding statements, and manage crisis communications from detection through resolution.
  • Monitor brand mentions, identify risks proactively, and advise leadership on tone and timing during sensitive situations.
  • Own the LinkedIn presence for the brand and CEO by writing, scheduling, and publishing content.
  • Coordinate team engagement, develop a monthly content calendar, and report on social growth and engagement metrics.
  • Draft investor updates, business summaries, financial narratives, client reports, and performance summaries.
  • Translate complex financial information into clear, readable prose and proofread all materials before distribution.
  • Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams while serving as a primary client contact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a communications, PR, or content role.
  • Strong writing ability across press releases, articles, op-eds, executive messaging, social copy, and financial summaries.
  • Proven earned media execution with measurable editorial results in U.S. and/or LATAM markets.
  • Experience with media outreach and building relationships with journalists.
  • Solid organizational skills and hands-on experience with project management tools, especially Asana.
  • Ability to set goals, track OKRs, and report on performance.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving environments with limited oversight.
  • Excellent judgment on what to communicate, what to hold back, and when to escalate.
  • Fluency in English with a natural, direct writing voice.
  • Branding and graphic design experience is a strong plus, though not required.
