Description

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy data pipelines and data platforms using AWS services.
  • Build and evolve data architectures such as data lake, lakehouse, and data mesh.
  • Develop end-to-end data solutions, including reusable frameworks rather than standalone pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Analytics, and DevOps teams to deliver business value.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and information management policies.
  • Lead incident resolution related to data issues and support change management processes.
  • Own projects from initial kickoff through delivery and implementation.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working in cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Spark (Scala), Python, and SQL.
  • Proven experience with AWS, especially S3, Glue, Athena, EMR, EC2, and Lambda.
  • Deep understanding of ETL design and data modeling.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end processes and make appropriate technical decisions based on context.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to identify edge cases and future scalability challenges.
  • University degree in a technology-related field, preferably Computer Engineering or similar.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Apache Iceberg or other analytical table formats is preferred.
  • Experience with data quality frameworks such as Great Expectations or Deequ is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Bash and HCL is preferred.
