Description

  • Work closely with clients to translate complex business requirements into digital products.
  • Build secure, high-performance applications within distributed engineering teams.
  • Develop cloud-based data engineering solutions on AWS.
  • Design and build knowledge graphs for enterprise use cases.
  • Create high-quality data pipelines with performance optimization and diagnostics.
  • Maintain production Python systems and support relational database and enterprise data platform work.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerized workloads using Docker.
  • Apply strong code quality, automated testing, and maintainable design practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and work independently in complex environments.

Requirements

  • Professional experience as a Data Engineer with a strong focus on cloud-based data engineering using AWS.
  • Strong expertise in Python development for production systems.
  • Hands-on experience building and working with knowledge graphs.
  • Strong experience with relational databases and enterprise data platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience building high-quality data pipelines, including performance optimisation and diagnostics.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and containerised workloads.
  • Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • High standards for code quality, testing automation, and maintainable design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with enterprise-scale data platforms is preferred.
  • Interest in Generative AI and applied machine learning is preferred.
  • Experience with SPARQL is preferred.
  • Must be based in the UK.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
