Description

  • Design, review, and build well-crafted backend software and services as part of cross-functional teams.
  • Architect, implement, and deploy new systems and improvements in collaboration with government partners and other contractors.
  • Design and implement high-performance bulk-data services and high-throughput data pipelines to support large-scale healthcare claims delivery.
  • Work in an agile manner to efficiently ship new features that meet user needs.
  • Create tools and processes to automate development, testing, and production workflows.
  • Write and review technical documentation and perform code reviews.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and investigate incidents when they occur.
  • Take part in hiring activities such as conducting interviews, as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience working in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment, preferably designing and building medium to large-scale applications on cloud platforms.
  • At least 2 years of experience building applications and API endpoints with Go.
  • Experience utilizing AWS cloud-native services.
  • DevOps experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines on AWS (desired).
  • Demonstrated tenacity to dive into problems and iterate on working code.
  • Highly resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented with an adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (technical and non-technical).
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
  • Ability to meet any other requirements for government contracts and potential government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract.
