Description

  • Provide daily supervision and support to the Test Coordinator team.
  • Serve as the first point of escalation for operational issues, patient inquiries, account questions, and procedural uncertainties.
  • Conduct biweekly one-on-one meetings with direct reports to support engagement, performance tracking, and training needs.
  • Review and approve employee timecards and manage scheduling to align with clinic and organizational needs.
  • Ensure compliance with specimen handling protocols, EMR documentation, and patient identification practices.
  • Monitor key metrics and address issues that could affect operational performance.
  • Oversee ordering and tracking of supplies for test coordination activities.
  • Assist with the coordination and execution of internal and external audits.
  • Conduct quality checks on patient coordination activities, specimen documentation, and communication logs.
  • Partner with Field Sales, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to resolve complex cases and improve patient support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required in healthcare administration, clinical sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a clinical or laboratory operations setting.
  • Phlebotomy Certificate is required as per state regulations.
  • Prior phlebotomy experience is strongly preferred.
  • Prior oncology experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
  • High proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management.
  • Familiarity with clinical compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Up to 50% travel is required for audits, onsite visits, and team support.
  • Must follow clinical safety standards and wear appropriate attire, including scrubs when onsite.
