Description

  • Lead analysis of large-scale cancer and germline multi-omics datasets to generate actionable insights.
  • Lead extraction, curation, and analysis of real-world data from EHRs, claims, and patient registries.
  • Design and execute real-world evidence studies to support clinical, commercial, and regulatory goals.
  • Integrate omics, clinical, demographic, and other multimodal data to enrich analyses.
  • Develop, train, and deploy AI and machine learning models for trend forecasting, outcome prediction, and biomarker discovery.
  • Use NLP and LLMs to extract structured insights from unstructured clinical notes, pathology reports, and other sources.
  • Oversee RWD and genomics projects from inception through completion.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Data Science, Business Development, Medical Affairs, Product Management, and Engineering.
  • Present complex analyses to technical and non-technical audiences and prepare reports and publications.
  • Engage stakeholders to define goals, communicate progress, and explain findings.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise in bioinformatics and genomics data analysis.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cancer genomics, including genomic alterations, molecular pathways, and cancer biology.
  • Expert knowledge of mapping, variant calling, CNV analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Strong experience with SQL, Python, or R and data visualization tools for large genomic and healthcare datasets.
  • AI/ML expertise in predictive analytics, machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
  • Understanding of real-world clinical data, including EHRs, claims data, patient registries, and health surveys.
  • Familiarity with common data models such as OMOP and experience using NLP/LLMs on unstructured clinical data.
  • Ability to interpret clinical endpoints, understand patient cohorts, and collaborate with clinical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of translational medicine or early discovery in biotech/pharma is a plus.
  • Excellent project management skills and experience leading successful projects.
  • Experience managing one or more direct or indirect reports.
  • Exceptional communication and technical writing skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including clinicians, scientists, biostatisticians, and regulatory stakeholders.
