Description

  • Oversee the execution of clinical agreements, site budgets, and payment follow-up across multiple studies.
  • Lead and manage full-time and/or contracted Budget & Contract Managers and Analysts.
  • Assign, monitor, and manage day-to-day clinical contract, study plan, and site budget activities.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve budget, contract, and payment reconciliation processes.
  • Partner with legal, accounts payable, finance, and clinical operations teams on cross-functional process improvements.
  • Review protocols and amendments with clinical trial operations teams to create site budget templates and study plans.
  • Analyze fair market value to support budget development, negotiation, and documentation.
  • Ensure budgets are loaded into CTMS and that sites are paid in a timely manner.
  • Track contract and budget activity, provide status updates, and maintain historical contract records.
  • Manage timelines for site-level budgets and agreements and support special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 8+ years of experience managing clinical site budgets and contracts.
  • Working knowledge of ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
  • Direct line management experience.
  • Experience with international trials preferred.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible, analytical, solution-focused, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to work remotely or in an office setting, travel up to 25%, and occasionally work evenings and weekends.
