Description

  • Own technical delivery, architecture, and code quality.
  • Design, develop, and review TypeScript backend and frontend systems.
  • Align with client engineering leadership on technical direction and delivery.
  • Break down epics into technical tasks and lead estimation and sprint planning.
  • Mentor engineers through pair programming, code reviews, and technical guidance.
  • Identify, mitigate, and proactively escalate technical and delivery risks.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, governance, roadmap planning, and dependency management.
  • Analyze the existing solution, investigate legacy systems, document findings, and recommend improvements.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of commercial software engineering experience across backend and frontend development with TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with NestJS, React, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
  • Experience leading engineering teams through mentorship, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
  • Strong experience with complex backend systems; ERP experience is a significant advantage.
  • Understanding of distributed and microservices-based architectures.
  • Expertise with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance analysis.
  • Experience with stored procedures, database functions, and complex SQL; PHP and MSSQL stored procedures experience is advantageous.
  • Experience with Apache Kafka and Azure Cloud.
  • Experience analyzing large legacy codebases and reverse-engineering existing systems.
  • Experience with system design, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, and technical decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and limited documentation.
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency.
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools, SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, or large-scale B2B portals is preferred.
