Description

  • Lead end-to-end data migration initiatives, including planning, execution, validation, and cutover.
  • Define and communicate data architecture decisions across AWS Redshift, Databricks, and related cloud platforms.
  • Document dependencies, schema inventories, data flows, assumptions, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate engineers, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.
  • Oversee validation to ensure migrated datasets are accurate, consistent, and aligned with source-of-truth systems.
  • Identify and mitigate migration risks, blockers, and dependencies while maintaining project timelines.
  • Create and maintain migration runbooks, testing strategies, rollback plans, and operational documentation.
  • Provide project status updates and translate technical changes into business impact assessments.
  • Promote data governance, quality, and operational best practices.

Requirements

  • Experience in data engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
  • Experience with Databricks, Python, and Spark for batch and streaming workloads.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms such as AWS Redshift and Databricks.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
  • Familiarity with BI visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience operating effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
