Description

  • Create, maintain, and continuously improve Help Center knowledge articles.
  • Establish and run a regular content review cycle to keep articles accurate, relevant, and easy to use.
  • Prepare written training materials for partner and Partnership Success Manager trainings.
  • Translate technical work and terminology into clear, easy-to-understand content for diverse audiences.
  • Write and edit video scripts for training and product videos.
  • Develop and enforce a comprehensive style guide for Murmuration-produced content.
  • Review and quality-check training content for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and style adherence.
  • Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in knowledge organization and content delivery.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to tools, workflows, and content architecture.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in technical writing, knowledge management, or content strategy with ownership of a content library or knowledge base.
  • Experience writing and editing for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce style guides and content standards.
  • Experience writing or editing scripts for training, product, or explainer videos.
  • Familiarity with tech tools and the language commonly used with them.
  • Experience with knowledge management systems and Help Center platforms such as Zendesk, Confluence, or Pendo, or similar tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a review cycle across a large body of articles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with training staff, partnership teams, and subject matter experts.
  • Experience in a civic engagement, nonprofit, or mission-driven technology organization preferred.
  • Background in instructional design and familiarity with adult learning principles preferred.
  • Experience using AI-assisted tools to speed up writing or editing workflows preferred.
  • Familiarity with video production workflows, including scripting or storyboarding, preferred.
  • Experience training stakeholders to use and contribute to a knowledge management system preferred.
