Description

  • Manage, coach, and develop multiple Data Success Managers, including performance support, workload planning, and professional growth.
  • Partner with the Sr. Manager, Data Success Management to set team priorities, operating norms, and ways of working.
  • Directly support a small number of partners by translating their needs into clear requirements and ensuring strong outcomes.
  • Oversee day-to-day data operations, including data intake, research, acquisition, validation, issue resolution, and delivery.
  • Ensure partner and vendor data is accurate, reliable, well-documented, and fit for use across products and internal systems.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, scalability, and quality.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the team using SQL, Python, and data management practices to troubleshoot issues and improve workflows.
  • Manage priorities and backlogs while balancing delivery timelines, data quality, partner needs, and organizational priorities.
  • Communicate clearly about status, risks, dependencies, and outcomes while fostering an inclusive, collaborative team environment.

Requirements

  • Experience managing and developing individual contributors, including coaching, performance management, and hiring.
  • Experience leading operational workstreams and improving team processes for quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to team leadership beyond direct management responsibilities.
  • Strong expertise in data management, data operations, and data quality practices.
  • Proficiency with SQL and working knowledge of Python for data analysis, troubleshooting, or workflow improvement.
  • Experience directly supporting external partners, clients, or stakeholders in a consultative or operational capacity.
  • Experience working with client data, vendor data, or other third-party datasets.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions within strategic direction.
  • Experience identifying risks to data quality or delivery and taking proactive steps to address them.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and written/verbal communication skills.
  • A hands-on, solutions-oriented approach and commitment to partner-centered ways of working.
  • Commitment to inclusive leadership, team development, and creating an environment where staff can thrive.
  • Preferred: Experience documenting data processes, business logic, and technical workflows.
  • Preferred: Experience executing community or political outreach efforts at significant scale.
  • Preferred: Experience with voter file or civic datasets.
  • Preferred: Experience with knowledge management and retention best practices.
  • Preferred: Experience with business intelligence tools such as Sigma or Tableau.
  • Preferred: Experience incorporating AI tools and agents into team workflows.
