Description

  • Own the Annual Operating Plan, Long-Range Plan, and rolling forecasts across all business units.
  • Provide actionable insights on program and company performance, unit economics, and capital trade-offs.
  • Support strategic decisions on new programs, pricing, launch partnerships, infrastructure, and CapEx investments through financial modeling and ROI analysis.
  • Lead variance analysis as part of the month-end close in partnership with Accounting.
  • Own program gross margin reporting, budget versus actuals analysis, and program-level cost tracking.
  • Build and refine program cost models for commercial and government contracts.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy through scenario planning, sensitivity analyses, and data-driven methodologies.
  • Partner with Mission Engineering and Program Management on program performance, risk mitigation, and funding strategies.
  • Deliver executive-ready dashboards and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build scalable FP&A processes, tools, and systems, and drive adoption of ERP and BI tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or investment banking.
  • 3+ years of experience in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record in aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • MBA, CFA, or CPA preferred.
  • Experience with both commercial and government space programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and BI tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Anaplan preferred.
  • Strong grasp of long-cycle programs, unit economics, government contract structures, and EVM is a plus.
  • Must meet ITAR/EAR export control requirements, including U.S. person or equivalent eligibility.
