Description

  • Own strategic quantitative research initiatives from scoping business needs through survey design, data synthesis, and recommendation delivery.
  • Use quantitative research methods across the product development lifecycle, including discovery, opportunity sizing, prioritization, concept testing, and post-launch measurement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, design, engineering, data science, and marketing to build and own a research roadmap.
  • Analyze and integrate surveys, behavioral data, and market intelligence into evidence-based recommendations for product decisions.
  • Champion user-centered decision-making by embedding research into product strategy and advocating for user needs with leaders across functions.
  • Mentor peers and refine quantitative methods and tools to expand the reach and impact of user insights across Firefox.
  • Collaborate with qualitative researchers to support mixed-methods research designs and roadmaps.
  • Maintain research impact while adapting to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in user research, product research, applied research, or a similar field, with a strong focus on quantitative research.
  • Extensive experience leading survey research across multiple phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Deep expertise in empirical survey methods, including planning, sampling, weighting, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience applying quantitative methods to discovery, product needs, prioritization, concept testing, panel surveys, intercept surveys, write-in analysis, and post-release measurement.
  • Highly proficient in R for statistical programming and survey data analysis.
  • Extensive hands-on experience using SQL to manipulate behavioral data and integrate it with survey research.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives using quantitative data and visualizations.
  • Success operating in fast-paced, agile environments while balancing research depth and speed.
  • Hands-on experience with mixed methods and qualitative research, including collaboration with qualitative researchers.

  • Salary range of $178,000–$238,000 USD for US Tier 1 locations, $164,000–$219,000 USD for US Tier 2 locations, and $152,000–$202,000 USD for US Tier 3 locations.
