Description

  • Own strategic quantitative research initiatives from scoping business needs through survey design, analysis, and actionable recommendations.
  • Use quantitative research methods across the product development lifecycle, including discovery, opportunity sizing, prioritization, concept testing, and post-launch measurement.
  • Partner with product, design, engineering, data science, and marketing to build and own a research roadmap aligned to business priorities.
  • Analyze and synthesize surveys, behavioral data, and market intelligence into evidence-based insights that guide product decisions.
  • Champion user-centered decision-making by embedding research into product strategy and influencing leaders across functions.
  • Mentor peers and help refine methods, tools, and approaches to increase the impact of user insights across Firefox.
  • Collaborate with qualitative researchers to support mixed-methods research designs and roadmaps.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in user research, product research, or an applied research setting, with a strong focus on quantitative research.
  • Extensive experience leading survey research across multiple phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Deep expertise in empirical survey methods, including planning, sampling, weighting, and statistical analysis.
  • Experience with quantitative research applications such as discovery, product needs, prioritization, concept testing, panel surveys, intercept surveys, write-in analysis, and post-release measurement.
  • Highly proficient in R for statistical programming and survey data analysis.
  • Extensive hands-on experience using SQL to manipulate behavioral data and integrate it with survey methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to craft compelling narratives using quantitative data and visualizations.
  • Demonstrated success working in fast-paced, agile environments and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Strong judgment in balancing research depth and speed to deliver actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with mixed methods and qualitative research, with the ability to collaborate on mixed-methods designs.
  • Collaborative and influential communication skills for building cross-functional partnerships and driving alignment through evidence-based insights.
