Description

  • Build trusted relationships with Mozilla’s business teams and serve as a solution-oriented advisor on commercial matters.
  • Draft, negotiate, and advise on transactions and agreements across B2B enterprise and SaaS sales, strategic partnerships, marketing, advertising, and vendor engagements.
  • Guide business teams on operational and stakeholder considerations and support deal execution.
  • Manage multiple projects with limited oversight and drive work to completion in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
  • Handle a broad range of responsibilities as needed to support the dynamic nature of the business.
  • Partner with Global Business Group, Business Development, and Product teams to encourage buy-in and collaboration.
  • Communicate legal risks clearly and work collaboratively to find practical solutions.
  • Provide proactive, thoughtful guidance that balances business objectives with legal risk.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree and membership in a state bar in good standing.
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience, including experience as in-house counsel.
  • Experience negotiating and drafting a wide range of commercial technology and vendor agreements, including SaaS agreements and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs).
  • Strong commitment to excellent client service and building trust-based relationships across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide proactive, solution-oriented guidance that balances business goals and legal risk.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve unclear, urgent tasks with limited oversight and take ownership of multiple projects.
