Description

  • Design, debug, build, and ship Android solutions that promote a healthy and inclusive internet.
  • Work as part of a geographically distributed team responsible for Firefox mobile applications and open-source Android components.
  • Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, testing, and applying coding practices to maintain quality standards.
  • Listen to feedback from Mozilla's open-source community and improve Android solutions over time.
  • Support Mozilla’s manifesto while working under the guidance and mentorship of senior team members.
  • Contribute to the development and release of products in collaboration with the team.

Requirements

  • Experience building Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
  • Eagerness to investigate and help resolve bugs and issues.
  • Experience contributing to product development.
  • Ability to work independently on simpler tasks and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to produce well-designed, reusable, and high-quality code with guidance.
  • Enthusiasm for learning from more experienced engineers.
  • Senior app developer experience is implied by the role context.
