Description

  • Design, debug, build, and ship Android solutions that promote a healthy and inclusive internet.
  • Contribute to Firefox mobile applications and the broader ecosystem of open-source Android components.
  • Participate in code reviews, bug fixing, testing, and the adoption of coding practices.
  • Help maintain quality standards while improving Android solutions over time.
  • Listen to feedback from Mozilla’s open-source community and incorporate it into product improvements.
  • Work with senior and more experienced team members under guidance and mentorship.
  • Collaborate within a hardworking, diverse, geographically distributed engineering team.

Requirements

  • Experience building Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
  • Eagerness to investigate and help resolve bugs and issues.
  • Experience contributing to the development of products.
  • Ability to work independently on simpler tasks and collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to deliver well-designed, reusable, and high-quality code with guidance.
  • Enthusiasm to learn from more experienced engineers and colleagues.
  • Experience as a senior app developer, as indicated by the role context.
  • Remote work location: Netherlands.
  • Salary range for Remote Netherlands: €52,000–€69,000 EUR.
