Description

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for autonomous system functional areas and launch markets.
  • Lead executives and key partners through complex decisions that advance strategic goals.
  • Synthesize technical and analytical insights with product judgment to shape roadmap investments and adapt to new information.
  • Secure alignment and support for the roadmap through clear communication with engineering teams, partners, and executive leaders.
  • Work across the organization to build and maintain the data infrastructure needed for decision-making.
  • Drive coordinated execution across AV engineering teams in an applied research environment with significant experimentation.
  • Identify and lead improvements to the team’s innovation, operating approach, and ability to scale impact.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of proven success as a technical contributor leading development in robotics or similar industries, including at least 2 years in the autonomous vehicle industry.
  • Ability to generate insights through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern software development and machine learning engineering practices.
  • MS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, robotics engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with engineers, non-technical partners, and executives.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and create simplicity and order.
  • Creativity and curiosity with a drive to find novel solutions and advance the industry.
  • 10+ years of experience in robotics or similar industries (preferred).
  • Experience with highly technical product management (preferred).
  • Experience developing safety-critical software (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $176,000 to $242,000 USD.
