Description

  • Build a deep understanding of Morning Brew Inc. audiences across franchises and touchpoints using mixed-method research and creative data analysis.
  • Execute end-to-end paid client research through MBI Insights products.
  • Conduct and synthesize proprietary qualitative and quantitative research to inform editorial and revenue initiatives.
  • Use first-party data from ad performance, subscriber behavior, and surveys to answer business questions and surface actionable insights.
  • Query and analyze data in Lightdash to support franchise health reporting, audience composition analysis, and sales enablement.
  • Support the growth and health of The Breakroom, Morning Brew’s proprietary insights community panel, through community management, operations, and strategy.
  • Proactively surface insights that help sales teams sell smarter, marketers plan better, and brand partners see Morning Brew as a strategic ally.
  • Contribute to strengthening MBI Insights as both a research practice and a product.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a research or analytics role at a digital publisher or agency.
  • Direct experience working with ad sales and marketing teams.
  • Experience with end-to-end survey work, including strategy, questionnaire writing, programming, distribution, and analysis.
  • Strong presentation and report-building skills, with comfort presenting to internal and client-facing groups of any size.
  • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Solid grasp of basic statistics and research methodologies.
  • Proven ability to craft compelling, data-driven narratives that support ad sales and brand partnerships.
  • Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage your own workload and collaborate clearly across teams.
  • Client-focused and strategic, with the ability to anticipate questions and deliver solutions.
