Description

  • Handle cases day to day from pre-litigation through litigation.
  • Manage pre-suit responsibilities and, depending on experience, perform senior attorney duties after a claim is filed.
  • Draft and file litigation documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memoranda.
  • Guide clients through the case process and provide ongoing case support.
  • Work with expert witnesses, including conferences, expert reports, and affidavits.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.

Requirements

  • J.D. from a fully ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing of the bar in the state where you are based or applying.
  • Experience with wage and hour claims is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation and litigation cases.
  • Excellent client service and communication skills.
  • Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.
  • Open to attorneys with employment law experience, transferable broader litigation experience, or interest in moving to plaintiff-side employment law.
  • Willingness to work in one of the firm’s growing markets, including Massachusetts, California, Washington, DC, New York, Pennsylvania, Illinois, or Michigan.
