Description

  • Translate legal reasoning, workflows, and procedures into structured AI-enabled systems.
  • Design decision trees, escalation frameworks, workflow logic, and prompt architectures for family law processes.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, product teams, developers, and AI leadership on automation and process improvement.
  • Build and maintain legal knowledge repositories, workflow playbooks, and operational guidance systems.
  • Develop and refine AI prompts, retrieval systems, and workflow orchestration logic.
  • Assist with AI-powered intake, document automation, and client communication systems.
  • Define quality assurance, human-review, and escalation standards for AI-generated work product.
  • Monitor AI outputs for consistency, quality, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
  • Test, iterate, and optimize AI-assisted legal workflows.
  • Document legal workflows, system logic, and governance procedures.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD), paralegal certification, legal operations experience, or equivalent practical legal workflow experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, workflow design, legal process engineering, product operations, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of legal workflows, procedural systems, and operational process design.
  • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into structured workflows and operational logic.
  • Exceptional analytical, systems-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and workflow documentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm regarding AI, automation, and the future of legal services.
  • Experience with generative AI systems, prompt engineering, workflow automation, or knowledge management platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, vector databases, retrieval systems, or orchestration platforms (preferred).
  • Experience in family law or other high-volume consumer-facing legal practice areas (preferred).
  • Experience working with software development teams or product organizations (preferred).
  • Understanding of legal ethics, confidentiality obligations, and AI governance considerations (preferred).
  • Remote-first work capability with reliable internet access and a workstation suitable for normal business hours.

  • Base salary of $105,000-$125,000.
