Description

  • Audit CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment processes against internal policies and external standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, and HIPAA.
  • Assess cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP for security, governance, and cost controls.
  • Review access management, secrets handling, and identity policies.
  • Validate change management, release management, and incident response processes.
  • Identify operational, security, and compliance risks in DevOps workflows.
  • Evaluate vulnerability management, patching, and dependency controls.
  • Review logging, monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.
  • Assess backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity readiness.
  • Examine DevOps maturity, automation coverage, and adherence to best practices.
  • Produce audit reports with findings, risk ratings, and actionable recommendations, and track remediation to closure.
  • Present audit results to engineering leadership, security teams, and management.
  • Provide guidance on improving DevOps governance and control frameworks.
  • Participate in other IT audits as assigned and follow up with responsible teams on recommendations from auditors and consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, security, IT audit, or risk management.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
  • Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CCSP, or AWS/Azure/GCP certifications are an added advantage.
  • Experience reviewing segregation of duties, approval workflows, version control practices, branching strategies, and audit trails is relevant.
  • Experience assessing third-party tools and vendor integrations for risk exposure is relevant.
