Description

  • Lead the technical strategy and architectural direction for the Code Gen team’s code transformation tools.
  • Design, build, and optimize workflows for code transformation, iterative build, and test automation.
  • Create orchestration layers, integration points, and high-performance data systems that support AI-driven code generation.
  • Partner with product managers, AI researchers, and engineers to turn complex requirements into technical solutions.
  • Guide the team through technical challenges related to autonomous code transformation.
  • Define and champion engineering best practices, patterns, and standards across multiple teams.
  • Contribute hands-on foundational code that addresses the hardest technical problems.
  • Collaborate with security and product teams to ensure code generation and LLM-based tasks are executed securely.
  • Help scope roadmaps, review technical designs, and drive execution on committed deliverables.
  • Recruit, interview, and mentor new team members.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software development and operations.
  • Experience modernizing legacy applications built on traditional database systems.
  • Experience using relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with tools and methodologies for code analysis, refactoring, and automated testing.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex software systems.
  • Practical knowledge of integrating GenAI into large-scale, complex systems, including understanding appropriate GenAI use cases.
  • Experience leading the design and development of complex workflows for AI model integration and output processing.
  • Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills.
  • Strong time and project management skills, including the ability to make realistic assessments of project cost and complexity.
  • Curiosity, a positive attitude, and a drive to keep learning, especially in building AI skills.
