Description

  • Design and own outcomes measurement frameworks for clinical improvement, sustained functioning, and return-to-productivity.
  • Analyze longitudinal outcomes data and translate findings into actionable insights for cross-functional teams.
  • Build validated, scalable methods for measuring clinical effectiveness across member populations and benefit configurations.
  • Partner with Data, Product, Tech, and Legal teams to support outcomes infrastructure, research, and reporting needs.
  • Lead original research studies from design through dissemination using platform and outcomes data.
  • Co-author studies with external academic partners and author peer-reviewed manuscripts for top journals.
  • Own the publication pipeline, including collaboration, journal selection, and revision cycles.
  • Translate research findings into evidence assets, white papers, outcome summaries, clinical briefs, and buyer-facing materials.
  • Partner with Value Management on VOI/ROI analyses and support Sales and Client Management with evidence-based content.
  • Present research findings to internal leadership and external stakeholders and help identify evidence gaps and research priorities.

Requirements

  • PhD in Clinical Psychology, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Public Health, Behavioral Science, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of postdoctoral or industry research experience, preferably in digital health, managed behavioral health, or health plan settings.
  • Strong peer-reviewed publication record in mental health, digital health, or health outcomes research.
  • Fluent in longitudinal data analysis and at least one statistical platform such as R, Python, SPSS, or Stata.
  • Experience designing and running IRB-approved studies using real-world or platform data.
  • Working knowledge of mental health PROMs such as WHO-5, PHQ-9, and GAD-7.
  • Ability to translate findings into plain language for non-researchers.
  • Ability to build evidence with commercial application in mind and partner across Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Product.
  • Comfort presenting to both academic peers and executive audiences.
  • Must have work authorization for the duration of employment; immigration sponsorship is not available.
