Description

  • Plan, manage, and execute developer meetups and hackathons in the San Francisco/Bay Area every two months.
  • Handle event logistics end to end, including venue sourcing, speaker recruitment, and follow-up.
  • Recruit high-profile speakers, strategic partners, and co-hosts from the developer infrastructure ecosystem.
  • Cultivate and scale the online community in Slack through authentic, high-signal engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships across the developer tools ecosystem, including builders, startups, and industry participants.
  • Convert community activity, event attendance, and digital engagement into leads and customer conversations.
  • Represent the company as a connective force within the developer infrastructure community.

Requirements

  • 0 to 5 years of dedicated experience in community building, event management, or field marketing within developer tools, DevOps, or developer infrastructure.
  • Deeply embedded in the developer infrastructure landscape with an existing network of builders, engineers, and companies.
  • Proven ability to organize developer-focused events end to end.
  • Demonstrated success turning community interest into measurable sales pipeline.
  • Based in the United States and able to travel to San Francisco every two months for events.
  • Residency in the San Francisco Bay Area is highly preferred.
  • A scrappy, resourceful, self-directed operator who thrives in hands-on execution.
  • Strong preexisting connections within the developer tools space.
