Description

  • Design, build, test, and release full-stack features using C#/.NET, ASP.NET Core Web APIs, SQL, and modern web technologies.
  • Review functional and technical requirements, research options, and create or contribute to solution designs.
  • Use AI-assisted and agentic development tools for code generation, review, testing, debugging, and delivery.
  • Develop effective agent instructions, repository conventions, and guardrails to produce reliable code.
  • Build and integrate LLM capabilities such as document extraction, RAG, agents, and tool use with Azure OpenAI and Azure AI services.
  • Implement observability, evaluation, and cost and latency monitoring for AI features while protecting employee PII.
  • Perform unit, automation, and peer testing and deploy through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with product, QA, hosting, infrastructure, and DBA teams to meet project requirements.
  • Coach teammates on responsible AI tool use, including security, data handling, and review practices.
  • Document work, present demos or training sessions, and recommend refactoring, process, tooling, and AI engineering improvements.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional software development experience, primarily with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core, MVC, RESTful Web APIs, and validation libraries such as FluentValidation.
  • 3+ years of SQL and relational database experience with Azure SQL or SQL Server, including query tuning and Entity Framework Core or Dapper.
  • Front-end development experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and a modern framework; Angular is preferred.
  • Experience with Bootstrap and jQuery for legacy modules is useful.
  • Experience developing on Microsoft Azure, including App Service, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and Managed Identity.
  • Experience with Git and Azure DevOps Repos, Pipelines, and Boards for CI/CD.
  • Experience with unit testing and mocking using NUnit or xUnit and Moq or NSubstitute, plus familiarity with test automation.
  • Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, OWASP, and secure coding practices.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot in daily design, coding, testing, and debugging workflows.
  • Experience managing agent instructions, skills, context, and guardrails, including at least one project where AI-assisted development improved delivery speed or quality.
